Business Analyst

We are seeking a Business Analyst to become an integral part of our team! You will analyze business needs and data to understand business and market trends in order to increase company revenue and efficiency. The primary responsibility of this position will be to act as a liaison between business units and the IT team to create and support technological platforms. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Interpret high-level business area requirements into detailed business requirements from which technical specifications can be developed. 

  • Assist with change requests received from the business and assist in writing a requirements document that will be used for implementation and testing. 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams. 

  • Proven ability to conduct meetings and gather comprehensive requirements. 

  • Proven ability to produce clear, concise, and high-quality documentation. 

  • Proven ability to layout user interface for ease of use and simplicity without compromising functionality. 

  • Lead the team’s development efforts to support our existing application and create new solutions for a growing network of customers. 

  • Independently perform functional analysis for new projects, as well as document functional and system requirements and solution designs. 

  • Facilitate meetings, manage, and guide conversations with differing opinions, and communicate clearly and effectively with a variety of audiences. 

  • Clear written and verbal English communication skills. 

  • Proven ability to prepare clear, concise, comprehensive, and high-quality training material and train small teams of users. 

  • Proven ability to meet the requirements of the project and timelines. 

  • Proven ability to quickly address issues during the project. 

  • Must have a proactive nature, with a proclivity for problem-solving, collaboration, and 
    willingness to learn. 

Qualifications: 

  • Previous experience in business intelligence, analysis, or another related field 

  • Knowledge of statistical tools and business reporting 

  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills 

  • Experience with Agile methodology 

  • Experience with Jira 

  • Strong attention to detail 

  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
